So I had an ectopic pregnancy 12/10/18, I had my right tube removed with our 8 week old baby still cocooned inside.

In January I was desperate for another child, so we decided to start trying again. However soon stopped due to changing jobs, money issues and my body not been ready. I hadn’t had a period since the surgery.

My first period arrived 17/07/19 and we had a chat and decided to try again. So I used this app to try and determine my expected ovulation, I used ovulation strips and a thermometer too. We only had sex around twice around this date. Once 3 days before and then the day before. We didn’t want the pressure and wanted to enjoy it.

Roll on two weeks and AF is due tomorrow. For the past three days I have been feeling nauseous, extremely ratty, emotional, n my boobs are heavy. So on Friday I started doing pregnancy tests. I swear I saw vvvvfl but my partner didn’t.

So we fly out to Cyprus tomorrow and I needed to know before we go so just did a digital test. And there it is in black and white. All my line eyes, trying to see faint lines put at ease, my partner were actually shocked. We are so happy. However now I’m worried, it’s still early days so fingers crossed our little rainbow baby will stay put, it’s just s countdown now until we go for our 6 week scan, when we had our ectopic they said they would scan me at 6 weeks to ensure our next one isn’t ectopic. So I’m praying all is fine and remaining positive. I’m thinking if they removed m

y dodgy tube then surely they shouldn’t be an higher risk. We will see. For now I’m going away knowing I’m cooking our rainbow baby. 🌈 👶
