I heard that dove soap is good for acne. Is that true? Has anyone tried that and does it work?

As an esthetician I can tell you no it won’t help. It will dry out your skin over time and strip your natural oils because your face needs more than just soap. I know this because before I went to school I messed my skin up in all kinds of ways causing my acne and blackheads to get worse. Please consider finding a reputable esthetician in your area who can recommend products to you that are filled with active ingredients that will actually help you instead of filler ingredients that do nothing and you waste money.

I’m not sure for acne but it helps for sensitive skin . Might reduce breakouts .

Idk about others but I have had really bad acne since getting pregnant and I use dove but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

I have used Dove to wash my face for a decade and it is so much better than anything else I've used. Their face washes are very gentle and dont aggravate acne. I cant say itll solve acne but it didnt make mine worse.
