I’m looking for some help/advice!

My due date is this Friday and my MIL is due to start radiation therapy for a brain tumour next week.

I’ve heard a few people say that if you receive this treatment, you shouldn’t be around babies. Does anybody know if this is true and if it depends what kind of radiation you’re receiving?

I don’t want to sound harsh towards my MIL as it’s a difficult time for us all and want her to meet her grandchild of course but I also want to look after and protect my newborn baby when they arrive. If I have to bring up this topic with her, I want to do it in the nicest possible way.
