..................................................He made her absolutely perfect for her daddy and I...Journee is my 9th baby (Yes my last lol)and yes all by 1 man my husband of 21yrs(I get asked alot😞)I had my tubes tide after my 4th for 7 years and we had them untide and had 5 more blessings. I had to bury my daughter born sleeping b4 Journee came along. Journee is our rainbow 🌈🌞 after a extremely bad storm🌩☄🥺. I won't lie, when I got that call at 10wks pregnant telling me it was a girl I was ecstatic! Then I was told she 95% has Trisomy21..I broke down and asked God why? I just buried my daughter 8 months and now this?! Why?! I called my husband crying he came home and sat me down telling me only us special parents get this opportunity to have special babies like this baby girl and I saw that in a whole new perspective. We just knew this would be an Amazing Journey from that day so we knew Journee had to be her name. She has recently had open heart surgery and just a month prior had heart catheterization surgery and has pulmonary hypertension which is getting better daily since her heart has been made whole. We are super blessed to have Journee in our lives and those of you mothers to be out there that get told your child may have Down syndrome?(Not Downs please say it right cause theres absolutely nothing down about them and yes I know the name is from a doctor lol I just don't like the term it's not a long word so why abbreviate that?but we also say she has UP syndrome cause she is such a Joy and never down.) But those of you getting the news? Please embrace this gift cause God only gives them to parent(s)he knows will love and care for them until your last breath. Trust me, you will be thanking God for them. God knew exactly what I needed after losing my daughter and here she is!! So please cherish the gift,embrace the gift,thank him for them.
Btw..Journee just learned she is very flexible and this is her newest thing lol she sucks on her toes like one would suck there thumb Haha

Our Noelle (that’s her with the OT during her therapy and thoroughly enjoying herself, lol!)—our number 11 earthly blessing, also a rainbow baby, (we’ve lost two babies), also just recovering from OHS, (and my husband and I have been married nearly twenty years and yes, we get asked the same question also! 😳), also with trisomy 21, AND also an absolute joy to our family as well!!! She was a 30 week preemie and was in the NICU for 81 days, plus I had complications from my C-section (my first and only one; all of my other babies, except one, were natural births. I only ever had one epidural). So we had a rough start there and were still navigating all the specialists and therapies, but even so, we are blessed by this baby girl!
Your Journee is beautiful! We truly are blessed to have these precious babies in our lives! 💙💛💙💛

This is my UP syndrome cousin. He also had clubbed feet when he was born. He is five and not walking or talking. This is my cousin's first and only child (she was only 32 when she had him).
