Early baby shower?

I am starting to stress out. 
I originally wanted to have our baby shower the end of November, but we have family events going on plus Thanksgiving. I dont want December becsuse of Christmas and January is just pushing it for me. 
Is October too soon? That's really the only time we have to do it because of holidays and other family events.

I don't think it's too soon. Everyone will understand because of the holidays. Plus you'll have plenty of time to get everything ready for the baby.

I’m due February 3 and I’m doing my baby shower October 20th! I’m a bit scared people will think it’s to early :/ I just don’t want it to close to the holidays

It is hard to work around the holidays. I think that’s fine! I’m having 1 in early November and then another in early January. (Families live states away)

My step mom is throwing me a shower for her family the last weekend in October. My husband and I have 7 sets grandparents and 3 sets of parents. Once the holiday season starts for us we dont stop until January.

Nope not too soon at all. I had my baby shower with my first in October and I’m doing it again w this baby. October 26 and it’s going to be Halloween themed ! I need to do it early, because weddings , the holidays. And then my daughters birthday is 5 days before my due date 😂. I’m going to be booked from sep - feb 💀

I’m also due the same month as you and I originally wanted to also do it October but decided on early December. I don’t think it’s too soon. They just recommend it a little later in the pregnancy in case (AND GOD FORBID) anything goes wrong.

I'm due Feb 9th and we are having my baby shower Nov 3rd. We dont want to do it during the holidays cause people are usually busy and strapped down with other purchases. January seems to be late and who wants to go to parties after the holidays? Nobody.

I'm going to be doing mind November 10th. It's still a few weeks from thanksgiving and it's almost 2 weeks after halloween.

Thanks you guys, luckily a family member has given us all of her daughter's stuff so that cut back on a lot that we really need. But really wanted to still haveva baby shower 6k celebrate!
