Question

i found out that im RH negative... my baby measured at a healthy 10 weeks, heartbeat is 164 and i was told everything is okay... but i also have to get a rhogam shot at 28 weeks and at birth.. 
i just have a MASSIVE anxiety now that my body will start rejecting the baby... does anyone else have RH negative blood type and had a healthy pregnancy and birth????

Don’t panic. I’m rh- also and 2 healthy pregnancies and pregnant with me 3rd.  Everything will be ok.  The shot is to prevent anything from potentially happening.

I'm RH negative and have a one year old. Pregannt again now, it really didn't make anything different you just have to get the shots. The only time it can cause issues is if you are bleeding so if you bleed at all before your first shot or if you ever do have a miscarriage you HAVE to get the shot as soon as you can or else your body might attack future babies. As of right now, you're fine the danger is the baby's blood mixing with yours (unless they end up with negative blood too but you won't know until birth)  that is what causes your body to attack the baby

I'm rh negative. Your body wont reject baby unless its blood type IS positive AND your blood mixes with babies. Dont worry about it.

I am also RH- and currently 9w4d. It stressed me out at first, but was told all would be well. I’ll also be receiving RhoGAM shot, but at 20w I believe I was told. Then again after the baby is born.

I'm rh negative you dont need to be worried. In fact rh incompatibility doesnt really even affect your first pregnancy its only if you become sensitized after this pregnancy that you would have to worry and that's what the rhogam shot prevents unless you have bleeding you dont have to have it till 28 weeks

Don’t worry. As long as you get the shot at 28 weeks and after delivery if your baby is rh positive ( they will check). Also if you have any bleeding before 28 weeks talk to your doctor ASAP to see if you need it before then. You and baby will be fine. Everyone in my family is rh negative. My oldest sister has had three kids without any issues, my other sister had six kids no issues. I have had one and currently expecting my second. It really isn’t that big of a deal as long as you get the rhogham shot. Good luck!
