How did your labor begin??

Question

37w5d and woke up to painful contractions at 3am. I thought this was it for sure! Ended up falling asleep when they fizzled out. Woke up this morning and I had this weird little pain in my back that comes and goes. Just curious how yall started labor?? Sadly I'm not dilated or effaced at all as of two days ago. Tell me your stories!

Answer

I woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. Went pee and everything was good. Laid down in bed to go to sleep and a few minutes later my water broke but I thought I just peed the bed. Haha. Woke my bf up to tell him so he didn't have to sleep in it 😂 He's like uhh I don't think that's what it is. We were at my mom's so I went to wake her up and she started freaking out like we gotta go to the hospital, you're about to have this baby and you're not doing it here! 🤦

With my son, it started feeling like really bad ‘I need to poop’ pains. It grew over he course of 2 hours, and then I went to the hospital and I was 9cm 😂
