I got my 8 month old ears pierced and one ear is red is this normal

It can be normal for there to be some redness. It shouldn’t get worse than that though. Keep up a good cleaning routine but remember that over cleaning is a thing and can cause irritation. Also don’t turn or move the jewelry - it’s not necessary and can hinder the healing process. If it doesn’t get better you may want to consult with a professional piercer. Those type of studs aren’t ideal for healing and sometimes the problem is lower quality metals used for that kind of jewelry.

Make sure to clean it 3x a day and also keep it dry as possible. Make sure to careful take of clothes when changing and keep her from pulling on them. Id day it’s fine as long as there’s no smelling discharge and as long as it’s not getting worse.
