Odds of having ivf twins?

If we put two embryos in to better our chances what are the odds that we end up having two babies?

Not many clinics will allow this now due to increased risks of multiples. It depends on your age and the quality of the embryos etc but there is very strong guidance that only one should be put back.

Your chances of pregnancy don’t really increase by transferring two.  It’s not the embryos that make the difference, but whether or not your body is in prime condition to accept them.  Your clinic will give you all the odds though based on your embryo quality and your body though so this is best discussed with them.

Both me and my bestfriend transferred 2 embryos. For both of us the result was the same, initially both stuck but 1 stopped developing early on. I'm not sure what the exact statistics look like, but obviously the chances are increased.

I think I read somewhere that just for having IVF your chances of having twins is like 30% which is pretty high

My sil did this and has twins. Boy and a girl they are now almost 3.
