Period a week after ovulation?

I am 8dpo and started bleeding this morning. Looks like start to a period (brown and little bit of red). I got my peak ovulation test on Monday 8/12, so this seems early for period but does not look like what I’ve heard implantation bleeding is like. I know the simple answer is to wait and see, but I’m just looking for support, suggestions or similar experiences. Can anyone help me out?

If it’s brown, it’s most likely implantation bleeding.

I’m in the same boat! I usually spot 2-3 days before my period but this cycle it’s 6-7 days before my period. Currently at 9DPO. I guess we wait and see!!

Most likely implantation bleeding, I would test in a few days! (: I tested immediately with my two sons and it came back positive.
