My husband has always loved playing video games and it’s his hobby. We came to an agreement that he should spend 20$ a month on this hobby of his. We have been paying for formal and we have to dip into our savings because we had an emergency. 4 days ago he spent 70$ on video games! And it’s where he just buys extras life’s or cool costumes for his characters on his laptop games. We talked about this AGAIN and agreed to stick to 20$ a month, especially since we are trying to build up our savings for emergencies only. Well guess what today he spent 50$ on his video games.

I don’t dye my hair or get my nails done... I haven’t even bought myself a new shirt or pair of shoes in over a year! It just makes me upset that he spends hundreds of dollars a month on video games when I haven’t even gotten to buy myself something nice. This issue has been going on our entire marriage. He says he won’t spend more then 20$ and before you know it he’s spent almost 200$.

We also have other problems and I’ve been considering divorce for a while. What do you think?
