Chemical pregnancy ?

Can someone please explain what a chemical pregnancy is and how it’s different from miscarriages? If it is? Does a chemical pregnancy feel different? Symptom wise?

Basically a chemical is a fertilized egg that never implants correctly. Which is still an early miscarriage but most people use the term miscarriage more when it is an implanted fetus that stops growing after the heart has started beating. I hope that helps

I read that they call it a chemical pregnancy because it makes the hcg rise enough to get a positive blood test and pregnancy test but it causes a miscarriage before the pregnancy can be detected on an ultrasound. I can’t remember how they worded it but basically it’s called chemical because it causes the positive test but it is not physically confirmed.

It's a very early miscarriage. Your hcg starts to drop and your tests would get lighter. You would start having soke bleeding.
