Possibly twins?

This was taken yesterday, 2 days before my period. Does it look dark for being 2 days before? Twins run on both sides of my family and both sides of my husbands.....soooo.... help a girl out lol

No it doesn't look dark for being two days before. It looks average. You also cannot determine twins by how dark the test line is on a pregnancy test.
My twins I didn't test positive until 15dpo and the test line was stupidly faint.

No. Darkness doesn’t determine twins. And it’s not super dark but still normal. Implantation was just early for you and possibly ovulation if you didn’t confirm. 
I got my positive 6 days before missed period & it was taking the color from the other line. But it’s just 1.

Predisposition to fraternal twins comes from your father's side. Identical twins is pretty random, I believe. 
HCG may be higher in twin pregnancies, but not always. You can't tell from a pregnancy test though.
