Why is it that spanish men dont want leave family?

Okay my boyfriend of three years when I asked him hey let's buy a house and get ready to start a family he says yes he wants to and everything but his family needs him mind you it's his mom and brother who his brother is 32 and just got married I could understand his mom but not his brother the fuck I ain't tell him to marry a lady from the Philippines that dont cook or clean. The mom babys her sons cooking for them cleaning. And when I say I'll buy it on my own and you cant come and stay with me once I do because I bought it instead of us being a team, he gets mad  and shit

You said it, the mom baby’s her sons by cooking and cleaning for them and you mentioned buy... Hispanic men (the traditional or old school ones at least) expect their women to be like their mother. Cook, clean, iron and not like if you was a salve to them but they are raised to be the bread winners and the women to take care of the household chores. I recommend you guys having a talk and make sure y’all are the same page

Being Spanish I know what you’re talking about but to me in your situation it just sounds like you’re not his main priority right now, or maybe he is not ready for that big move. Because specially Hispanic men once they find the woman they want to marry they are quick to start a family and move out to build their homes. They will always stay close to their parents that’s for sure. We are brought up that family is everything and closeness and once someone marries we bring them to the family as our own. I would say have a heart to heart conversation on how you feel and where you both are to clear things up.

It’s a culture thing, Hispanic are big on family and remaining close in order to help each other out whenever necessary. Especially with males it’s traditional for moms to clean, cook, etc and for them to always help their mom. In fact that is way many move their SO in to their moms house instead of moving out.

Yes a lot of hispanic men tend to want to be close to family and or have a hard time leaving, but to me it all comes down to that men not making u a priority & he is showing you! Pay attention i doubt that will change, its not his race its him as an individual.

I’ve noticed it being a cultural thing too. I’m black and Hispanic and my uncle hasn’t moved out his moms and he’s 27 soon 🤷🏽‍♀️ I live in a predominantly Hispanic area and I saw that a lot which is why I didn’t date Hispanic men. I think they should be off the boob a lot sooner than that especially if they can live on their and be stable but choose not to. I couldn’t deal with that cause it would annoy me to no end and most likely lead to a break up. Discuss with him seriously about what you want to do and if he doesn’t want to go along with then deuces ✌🏽
