Trying to appreciate what we have

Je

I hate it when people say "oh enjoy it while you can" for anything, but especially when you're talking about wanting to start a family. It's so discouraging and it makes people seem very ungrateful for their kids.

Instead, I recently told hubby that I am going to try to start noticing and appreciating the moments when we are doing something we won't be able to do once we finally have our baby.

Today that includes sleeping in late cause we both had the day off, and playing a computer game together last night and fooling around because why not.

I know it hurts, and I'd happily give up all these things to hear a baby crying at 5am, but I'm trying to find anyway I can to be content and not spend every night on Pinterest looking at nurseries🤷
