Another phase of separation anxiety?

Anyone else’s LO experiencing another phase of separation anxiety? Our son seemed to get so much better about it for a while and now all of a sudden he freaks out if we leave the room again. Or at bedtime, he hates when we put him down. He never did that before. He would just quietly go to sleep. 
I also definitely see the toddler phase creeping up on us... he’s starting to let you know when he doesn’t get what he wants... 🙄

Yessssssss She used to be so social and playful with everyone, but now she just looks in disgust or buries her head into me. She was full blown wailing and grabbing at my neck at her appt with the ped examining her 🤦‍♀️
I’m a sahm and only have ever left her with her grandparents (whom she loves more than me, I’m sure of it!), so we haven’t been forced to feel the separation anxiety everyday, but I see the toddler tantrums gaining momentum now😣

Our son has been going through the same thing. He is ever so clingy at the minute, crawls after us whilst crying his eyes out thinking we're leaving him. Grabbing onto my legs begging to be picked up whilst I'm washing the pots and so on. I've been doing alot of things one handed recently lol.. this monkey on my hip with a pregnancy bump and spd does not go together! We have also noticed alot of 'attention seeking/fake crying' - it also says on the wonder weeks app this happens around this time. We're not allowed to leave the room but he is allowed to leave the room 😂

Omg yessssss!! Especially at bedtime my son literally screams so loud as soon as I walk away. This past week I’ve just been staying in his room until he falls asleep. He’s still falling asleep independently but needs me to be near him it’s crazy! During the day also if he sees me walk away it’s brutal! I think separation anxiety is big around the one year mark!

Yesterday my husband idk gave me the day off. And he said our son was sad all day. Whispering crying out for me. Not himself no smiles or play.

I read somewhere that they go through a rough phase of separation anxiety around age one. I’m not sure how true but I read it on another post.
