Back labor. How to flip baby?

What can I do to reposition baby so I don’t have back labor? Been getting contractions and they’ve all been in my back and very painful.

You can also see a chiropractor! They cannot flip your baby but they can make sure that your body is in good alignment to help your baby position themselves properly.

I asked my close friend who is an obgyn this. With my first I literally cracked my tailbone with her because she was sunny side up, which places all the pressure of the crown of her head on your tailbone and it can snap. Anyways , she said there’s very little you can do to prevent back labor, or the baby being sunny side up (in my case). She said it usually has to do with the shape of your uterus and pelvic cavity as to which way you experience pain and labor contractions

My midwife told me to take turns switching positions from your left and right side when you sleep or are laying down. And to avoid reclining much throughout the day. There’s also an exercise you can do where you lay on the edge of the bed and have your partner hold you don’t fall and you shift one leg over the other slowly. She said this helps move baby. (Not sure if that made sense)
