Francis 🤢

Guuuuyyyyyssss.

I really want to name my next child after my great grandmother. She’s been my entire world. We’ve got a good alternative we’re using for a girls name but I can’t find anything for a boy.

Her name is Frances and her maiden name was Carpenter.

I cannot and will not use Francis or anything that could end up with a nick name of Frank. I personally hate how old that sounds. It’s a nice name, but not for me. 🤷🏻‍♀️🙅🏻‍♀️

I love surnames as first names, but I’m highly doubtful of getting hubby to agree to Carpenter, not to mention that is a lot for a first name. I love tradesmen names, but this one kind of sounds extra addressing.

Does anyone have any suggestions at all?
