My boyfriend really wants to try anal...and I really don’t want to.

I keep hinting and lightly saying ‘No’, but he like doesn’t get it.

Just keeps saying “it’ll be fine” or “you’ll love it”.

Now we have a safe word for whenever we feel uncomfortable, in pain and/or want to stop, and I plan on using it, cause I don’t want to. (If either of us use the safe word we understand that means stop and we respect it)

But my question is, why are men so obsessed with anal?

I don’t get it.

Many guys want to put their dick into you but flip out if you ask the opposite (pegging).

What’s so cool about anal? What’s the appeal?

I was in a really bad relationship where my ex was sexually abusive.

My boyfriend knows this and knows I don’t want to do certain things and respects it.

He repeatedly stops in the middle of sex to ask if I’m ok and happy and/or if I want/need to stop.

I know that he does it so I don’t feel scared and know that my opinion matters, and I truly love this and love him more for doing so.

It’s just this one thing that he asks all the time for. And I know that if I just say “no” then he will stop asking but it’s like I got used to not having the ability to say no with my ex that so it’s weird to say it:/

I just need to say “no, I do to want to do this”. I know he will be ok because he understands and loves me regardless:)
