So upset and confused

Went to L&D last night because I felt a small gush of fluid when I lifted my leg and it smelled sweet, not like pee at all and happened a few more times. When we got there they tested the fluid with these little strips of paper and they turned blue right away which means amniotic fluid is present. They tested me again later internally and it turned blue again. Later on the on call doctor came in and decided it wasn’t leaking and sent me home. The two nurses seemed so confused as to the strips turned blue. But anywho she discharged me and I lost it. Completely broke down. I’m so confused why they would falsely show positive. I’m concerned a little and just ready to have my baby boy. We got home and I laid down and a similar thing happened and soaked my underwear. One upset mama bear.
