i‘ve just found out i have an impeforate hymen, but i still get my period regularly (most of the time). it’s basically when your hymen (the skin around the opening of the vagina) is either really thick, or completely covers the opening of the vagina. everything i’ve read had said that this condition stops the blood from coming out. until recently, my period was pretty regular, but my period is later every single time i get it. i don’t know if this is because of the problem or not, because this hasn’t really happened before now. can an imperforate hymen get worse??? i’m getting a minor surgery to fix the problem soon, but this still worries me. anyone know anything? thanks😘
