Can you eat roast beef during pregnancy?

Hope this is the right group, but does anybody know if roast beef sandwiches like french dip are ok during pregnancy? First pregnancy and not sure if I can eat that even though I'm having cravings right now.

There is something called toxoplasmosis. Google it. It is why you shouldn't eat raw meat when pregnant and it can cause mild(hearing problems and the like) and severe defects on the fetus(development issues in the brain,learning disabilities,spastics).
My sister has hearing problems because my mother ate raw meat during pregnancy. Not here to scare you,just answering the question.

i was always always hounded by my family and doctors to never eat cold sandwich meat. it is has to be warm to get rid of “bacteria”. 
i’m not sure tbh i don’t have kids just an old wives tell i use to hear

The meat has to be heating to steaming for it to be safe during pregnancy. Usually in a French dip sandwich the sandwich has been heated to it could be fine.
