Hi guys! So to start, i’d like to say that my boyfriend and i have been together for two years and have set this plan out for a while in advance. I’m a senior in high school and will be graduating this year!! My boyfriend and i have been planning to move out together to 1-make rent an easier payment and 2- spend more time together since our college years are of course going to be chaotic. His family is fully aware, but mine has not been informed. My parents are very strict, and even more strict due to religious beliefs. With my senior year kicking into gear, my boyfriend and i have been talking about when we want to tell them so we can look at apartments near the college we are going to. I am, however, CRAZY NERVOUS! I’m not sure about timing and delivery and have spent hours pouring my thoughts out over it. I could really use you guys’ help. How should i go about telling my parents of our plan? When should i do it? What do i do if they freak out? Thank you for reading:)
