For those who pay out of pocket, how much is/was your doctor visits?

I’m about to start a new job that pays a lot more than minimum wage, like 2X more and I may lose my help. I just want to know what an average visit costs.

With my doctors visits you dont pay for the visits they just send one bill after birth all lumped together.

I clicked comment because I wanted to know the same thing.  I was just on the phone with the insurance company today and got off the phone more stressed out than ever. Ugh

With my midwife it’s a flat fee unless you’re in network. Which would have been awesome (only $750 like with our first) but with my second we were out of network and did what our insurance deductible was which was $2,000 and 50% after so a total of $3,100. This babe she couldn’t get in network but since it’s my third babe and she didn’t want us to have to find other care she’s doing it for $2,000.

It depends. Some visits were just 50 others were 200.
