Is my 7 month old eating too much?

Before i explain, i KNOW a baby cant eat "too much". Theyre growing, duh. Anyway.... My son eats 2 to 3 jars of baby food AT EVERY MEAL! With a 4 to 6 oz bottle! So, hes eating 6-8 jars (24-32 oz) of solids PLUS approx 18 oz of milk a day!!! Hes 19.4 lbs.

That sounds like way too much to me, but I would check with his Dr.

I'm actually going through something similar. She wants to just eat food and passes on her bottles. I was about to post about it but started to read ur post. I know she needs her formula over baby food right now but she won't take it. Literally spits it out. What should I do. I'm so very desperate. Never dealt with this before so I have no clue. I don't want to keep feeding her baby food but she won't eat at all of I don't. I mean she won't have a bottle. Idk. Very frustrated with myself. I don't know if I should have waited on food for a bit...but I was told she could start some at 4 months and I started her off with oatmeal and bananas. Anyways please any advice is very welcomed. My little man probably has a maximum of the equivalent of 5 jars a day and he's a great eater. I'm sure he'd eat more but he doesn't need it and is satisfied with that. I have been told that feeding babies too much can stretch their little stomachs but definitely check with your doctor because it may be totally fine! 🤷‍♀️

My son is 7 months he eats porridge with some water and a 7Oz bottle of milk in the morning. He will snack on fruit inbetween meals but for lunch he has a pot of baby food (doesn't always finish it but can literally eat anything) another 7Oz bottle. I haven't introduced him to dinner yet but I will in a couple of weeks. He has another 7Oz bottle before bed.

I would def talk to your doctor. At this age most nutrition should come from breast milk or formula I believe. So I would think you may need to bump bottles up to 8oz and cut back the food. My first was a big boy (23 lbs at 8 months) and he never ate more than 3 jars of food a day. Def check with your babies doctor just to be safe :)

My son will be 8 months on Monday and he’s just over 20lbs. He only has one jar a day as it satisfies him. He has a 7oz bottle after it, weatabix and bottle of milk in the morning and a yogurt and milk in the afternoon then 8oz bottle at 6.15 then goes to bed. I would suggest speaking to ur health visitor about it
