Pumping to induce labor?

Has anyone tried pumping to induce labor? How did it go? Did you feel anything afterwards? And does anyone have any tips?

I only did it once, as I didn’t want to “waste” too much of the colostrum. It gave me a couple contractions but nothing consistent. I’ve heard it work for others though. Here’s the method of doing it “safely” per my midwife.
Pump 10 minutes at a comfortable setting
Rest 10 minutes
Pump another 10 minutes
Then go for a nice walk/ bounce on yoga ball
Relax! 
It was only recommended to do this method 1x/day

I literally rubbed my nipples for like 30 seconds and immediately after I had contractions and went into labor, delivering my baby 11 hours later. It worked! Lol

I did it will not pregnancies and it always gave me cramps but no actual contractions.

I was pumping and 10 minutes in on one side my waters broke 😆😆 I was three days overdue at the time and unfortunately no contractions came on so had to be induced the next day but who knows.

I have to try to make my contractions more consistent. No luck so far. They die down after a while.

I haven’t tried pumping but I have done normal nipple stimulation and those for sure bring on contractions for me! They just didn’t stay.
