Whenever the person feels comfortable sharing. I had a missed miscarriage so I personally won’t be telling anyone but my husband.. plan on waiting like 10 weeks before we share with our parents and 14weeks for siblings.. possibly longer when we tell extended family.

Personally I'd say 12 weeks to tell people as that is when the risk for miscarriage dramatically decreases and my family has a lot of high risk pregnancies. However it is whatever the parents are comfortable with. A lot of people I know will tell their close friends and close relatives fairly soon after getting a positive test but won't do the big official announcement until that 12 week mark
