Airport security while pregnant - did you go through the metal scanner or patted down?

We’re on our way to the airport now and it just crossed my mind. If you travelled pregnant, did you go through what I think is a metal scanner, or did you ask to be patted down instead! 
Need thoughts soon 😘

The metal detector was ok. 
The one where you put your arms up and they do like an X-ray I did not. Always opted out and had them pat me. 
They say it’s pregnancy safe but I’d rather just get patted down.

I’m an attorney and I have to go to court every day. Which means I had to go through a metal detector every single  day. I did a lot of research and it does not harm your baby. 
My baby boy was born happy and healthy on his due date naturally with no complications.

I was patted down. Because I don't want to worry 20 years from now when one of those commercials come on😂😂😂 you know the ones I'm talking about.
