What is going on !!!

Question

8 days late and still negative!!! Anyone experienced this before ?? 
Surely if I was pregnant I’d have a positive by now 😭
Edit : I’ve had normal periods ever since my miscarriage in July last year

I had a miscarriage in May and have had two periods since but they’re not the same as they used to be and I’m irregular (I used to be regular). I’m 3 days late with this current one. Apparently you can experience irregular periods for several months following a miscarriage. No one told me that!

Yes unfortunately I have experienced it, and it sucks. After my miscarriage my first 3 periods were my regular 30 days, and out of nowhere the next cycle came at 8 days late when I was going to the dr that day to get blood work 😩. I never get a positive until 6 days past AF anyway, so I just figured it was taking awhile for Hcg build up. Nope!
