Hi there!

Anyone else living in FL and dreading this hurricane? I’m a native Floridian, so I’ve kinda been living in denial about it and expecting it to be very mild or not hit at all. That being said, this will be the first hurricane with a baby and there is obviously a lot more nerves and what ifs that come in to play when you have a little one!

My husband is also now in the Air National Guard. He transitioned from Air Force to the guard about 3 years ago into a non-deployable position (yay)! Buut, his entire unit is being called in to work for hurricane relief and he will be leaving Saturday night. We just found out about an hour ago.

I. AM. STRESSIN’.

I am only really worried about the night of the actual hurricane, and also about the power going out. My parents do live close, so baby, dog and I can stay there if needed. But I really hate to take baby out of his normal night ritual and the room he is comfortable with. I don’t want to throw off our routine and ruin sleep forever!

I know we will figure it out and be okay, but I just wanted to type out my worries I guess. I just love this March mamas group!
