Reusable cloth nappies?

Question

I’ve just bought 2nd hand cloth nappies and liners for when my baby is born. I keep reading that even with disposable liners they aren’t good for newborns as they have runny 💩 and they are better for when baby’s 💩 is more solid. I have also bought a few packs of disposable nappies. Anyone had any experience with reusable cloth nappies that can give me some advice?

I don't have experience of using cloth nappies. Only that my daughter's newborn poos weren't runny. They were the consistency of peanut butter, if they were looser they would still sit quite pert on the nappy lining. 
I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Im a first time Mum so not used them but definitely interested in giving them a go! There are cloth nappy libraries (like sling libraries) in my town that I plan on going to to get more info and help from nearer to when my little one is due- maybe theres something similar near you? x
