Postpartum depression/low mood and breastfeeding

I am currently 7 months postpartum and I have just been to my doctor and she thinks I am suffering from depression. She said there’s not much she can give me as I am breastfeeding but there are ways around it. I told her I will schedule another appointment with her and if I still feel the same I will consider medication. My question is, is there any over the counter medication I can take whilst breastfeeding? I used to take St Johns Wort regularly but unfortunately I cannot take that. Thank you
