When do you start shopping for baby stuff ?

I am over 13 weeks pregnant, I was just curious when do people really start shopping for the little one. I don’t wanna look silly 😛😛

At 13 weeks we had the car seats in house, stroller, bed, some small stuff we'd collected over time ttc.

Go for it! With both my children I like to buy a big ticket item every 1-2 weeks during the second and early third trimester to spread out the expenses. Crib one week, nursing chair one week, mattress, dresser, etc. However, that’s just my personal preference. 
I personally would hold off on buying too many small sized clothes if you plan to have baby shower, because people mostly want to buy cute teeny tiny baby outfits. I had four baby showers with my first (I was spoiled, I know) and despite having a very organized registry, I mostly received baby clothes (which weren’t even on the registry). People just can’t resist purchasing those cute little outfits. So I mostly use my registry as a shopping list for myself and while I make it available to my friends and family, I expect to buy most things myself. I will say people like to buy the other cutesy stuff too, like baby blankets, decor, etc. They don’t want to buy the practical stuff though, like a diaper pail, or bottles.
Anyways I got off on a huge tangent that might not ever apply to you... in the end start buying once you’re ready!

You can buy bottles swaddles and socks. Babies always tend to lose socks a lot

Girl you go shopping when you want to go shopping! Shit with my first pregnancy I bought the crib by 8 weeks and by 10 weeks bought the dresser and glider for the nursery. The entire nursery was basically done before I was even 20 weeks and knew the gender. All we had to do once we knew gender was add some extra decor. This time around I first bought stuff at 6 weeks! Found some cute Christmas (I’m due in December) clothes on the sale rack and couldn’t resist haha.

I picked stuff up here and there after the 12 week mark. I got more of the essentials than anything to begin with and got them gender neutral but after I found out the sex it was all girl from there on out

If I'm at Target, I'll occasionally pick something up. My first I bought a ton of gender neutral stuff right at the beginning then after anatomy scan, bought more girl stuff etc.
