Top newborn items

After 10 days with my little girl, I wanted to post my top five items that have made life with her even more sweeter. I hope this helps someone wondering what to get for their new baby.

1. The Ollie swaddle

Easy to use, soft and breathable material, and my daughter LOVES being swaddled. Sleeps like a champ for both naps and at night

2. Halo bassinet

We have the one that plays music and vibrates; it also has a light so I can easily unswaddle and reswaddle during the night. This has been a godsend for nighttime sleep and it’s right next to my side of the bed.

3. Dock a tot

She naps in it during the day while swaddled (and before the sanctimommies come after me we are awake and sitting right next to her the whole time. It’s between us on the couch, NOT in a crib or bassinet.) she loves her dockatot and it gives us a place to lay her down while we eat etc and she is still right next to us

4. Burt’s bees burp cloths

They are so soft and I use them every day all day.

5. This pacifier she got from the hospital 😂

Nevermind any cute pacifiers or which ones are supposed to be “the best” for baby- she loves this one from the NICU best. I bought some that are just like it except pink and I swear she can tell the difference and still prefers this one 😂

Honorable mentions: Muslin jammies (soft but lightweight for summer), Dreft spray and wash (removes spit up stains in a snap), Honest diapers (keep moisture away from sensitive skin) and triple paste ointment (keeps her sensitive skin hydrated and rash free)
