Hello ladies so im having a guilt trip right now. I was on the phone with my husband when our daughters school called (she's in first grade) and it was the school nurse calling because my daughter went due to her throat hurting, she said she has no fever and school is over in about 20 mins so she said its up to me if i want to pick her up or have her wait it out. The school has changed a few rules and will mark her for leaving early without a real reasonable excuse so i said to send her back to class because its not that serious and knowing my daughter when she gets home shes going straight to our pool. I don't want her to form a habit that for any excuse she can leave whenever she wants unless of course an upset stomach or fever or injury than i'll be there in 2 seconds. Well i got back on the phone with my husband and told him and he got really upset with me and hung up. I have our 3 month old son who is ready for a nap and a load of laundry to do meanwhile so its not like i want to be kid free for an extra 20 mins, but now that im thinking about it does this not make me a good mom.
