Hello everyone I am engaged to the love of my life and we are moving in together next week. We are pretty much splitting bills and rent, pretty much everything. We feel like we are one so we are sharing everything. His money is my money and vice versa. However, he thinks we should have a joint account with ALL of our money in it. I prefer to just put bill and rent money in there but I am willing to try it the way he wants but I don’t know how to tell him that I don’t want to without him feeling a way or being upset. Mind you he makes more money than me and he provides a hell of a lot so I don’t think he’s trying to hog all of the money or nothing. I just think it won’t be so complicated as far as when we want to spend on ourselves. I don’t want a monitor on how much I spend. Please comment your advice !!!
