What was your first ultrasound like?

I’m about a week and a half out from my first ultrasound! I’ll be 9w5d at that point. Can you ladies give me some info on what the rundown of your first appointment was like?? Thanks in advance mommas! ♥️

Theyll take your vitals (blood pressure, weight, pee in a cup, ask your symptoms or any problems/worries) then theyll take you back and once the dr arrives they will talk over some things with you and put the gel on your belly and look around for baby. Youll be able to hear their heartbeat and if your lucky youll see them moving around a lot as if theyre dancing😍. Theyll point out basic stuff such as body parts and tell you what they think of babies process. Youll get printed photos and be sent off to schedule your next appointment. Thats pretty much the basics of it

Since I had irregular cycles, I was not sure how far I am. Doctor asked me to go for USG after my HCG levels were 4000. I was super nervous and hoped that it isn't an ectopic. Luckily everything looked good. My sac was visible and doctor confirmed it to be uterine pregnancy. I was 5 weeks 3 days. They asked for repeat USG after 10 days when we can expect to hear heartbeat 💓 fingers crossed

It depends on the clinic and where you live. I am in the UK. I just had my early 7 week scan (ivf) and it was literally just an abdominal scan. No blood tests, no urine tests, no weighing etc. We saw the heartbeat but didn't hear it. They measured everything on the scan and we got a picture and print out of the meaudrments etc.
