Do you let family kiss your toddler on the lips?

If your toddler goes in for a kiss, how do you tell family not to kiss on the lips in a non-offensive way?

Its not up to me. Its up to him. If he doesnt mind he will. If he doesnt want to he wont.

I don’t tell them anything, because I don’t have a problem with it. Kissing babies & toddlers is extremely normal & common in my family 🤷‍♀️

I ask that they avoid lips just to keep everyone healthy, but if it happens, it happens. My son can kiss whomever he wishes (usually just mom and dad).

None of my family members does it, but if they did I would just let them. I don't see why I should have a problem with it.

I just say it straight up. After my kids are born and somebody asks to hold them I say please don’t kiss them. If they ask why I tell them because I don’t want to risk my children getting herpes or sick. It’s not a big deal. They get lots of kisses from their dad and I. So they still get “loved” as some people on here say that we’re holding them back on feeling loved. A hug is love, a high five is love, a simple smile is love. My brothers are with new chicks every month, who knows if those girls got anything.. but then again I have a open minded family so they don’t take to heart, they understand because they have certain rules for their kids as well.

Just tell them that she doesn’t like it, tried telling my OH ‘s family about the germ thing and they ignored it but stopped when I said she doesn’t like it!
