So I just put baby’s cot up and wondering if baby can sleep straight in it from birth I’m not putting bumpers on due to SIDS and she will be swaddled for comfort. Is the cot safe or should I use Moses (bassinet) basket?

Take the stuffed animal decor off and you're good to go. My son used to be able to pull that thing loose from his car seat so I'd hate to hear of an accidental suffocation. But other than that i assume youll be removing the toys anyways. Looks just fine.

Both my kids slept in their crib from day one in their room. That’s what they’re made for so they absolutely can sleep in there from the start
