The worst thing you can say to a parent is, “I feel sorry for your child”. I can’t even describe how fired up this gets me. When you say that to someone, you imply poor parenting or abuse. That is such an atrocious thing to say and just like the highest form of insult to me.

Especially as a mom. I carried this baby for 9 months. I gave birth to this baby. I sacrificed so much for this baby. She is a piece of me. I would move mountains for her. How dare someone ever utter this phrase to me or any other parent.

We all parent differently. That’s okay. If a child is safe and loved, and their needs are met, who cares? Who cares if they are bottle fed or sleep trained? Who freaking cares?
