so i recently went shopping with my best friend to get a homecoming dress. I’m 16 and when i got home my parents asked me to show them my dress and right as i pulled it out they started telling me i’m to fat to wear a tight dress, people are going to talk about me and that red doesn’t look good. Then they told me that i needed to take it back and get a different one. I’m insecure as hell as it is without them telling me something but i felt beautiful in this dress for once. I don’t know if i should listen to them and take it back or keep it because i feel beautiful in it
