I had an ultrasound today and everything looks good- I’m measuring about 5 weeks 3 days, we saw the gestational sac and the yoke sac. However, I found out that I have a heart-shaped uterus. The baby implanted in one of the horns. My doctor didn’t sound too concerned and mentioned the chance of needing a c section of the baby is breached and that I’ll need to have more ultrasounds than the average pregnancy. She also said there was NOT an increased miscarriage risk. Like an idiot, I googled heart shaped uterus when I got home because i had never head of it and read horror stories about high miscarriage rates, birth defects, etc. Anyone have some positive stories about having a heart shaped uterus? I guess the heart can be more severe in some people than others?
