Does anyone else feel like their ob doesn’t care

I had one like that a d I dropped her as fast as I could. I now love my ob the strange part is he worked with my mom when she was a nurse in the hospital he delivers in.

I see a midwife because of that exact reason.

I feel so supported & heard by my OB. She literally has listened to every single concern I’ve had, run every single test and made me feel validated. I LOVE my OB. If you aren’t comfortable with them, CHANGE! A good OB is so, so important!!!

That means you’re at the wrong OB. I moved around until I felt completely comfortable.

My midwife would do whatever in her power for me and baby. Seen my obgyn for 7minutes at the anatomy scan, baby was curled up on an odd angle so she tried to help the ultrasound midwife see better, she was of no help.

I stopped going to mine after 18w. I went to a gyn because it’s my first. Now I’m just with a midwife, thank gods.

Yes! She doesn't explain anything the ultrasounds or test they run. Thinking the ultrasounds last a little longer nope 5 minutes and that's it. Yet I wait in the waiting area for an hour or 2.

I would get a new one. I genuinely feel like my midwife cares about not only my child but me as well. She takes her time with us, answers all of my questions, and explains everything I need to know without making me feel dumb. You should feel like your doctor cares about your well being, your child's well being, and your wishes/concerns. My doctor has known my birth plan since 20 weeks. She knows my daughter's name.

The only reason I stuck with my doctor instead of going to a midwife was because I know she cares and respects my choices. I would have bailed on her in a heartbeat if she hadn't earned my trust. (I had actually had been intending to go to a midwife originally.)
