DNA gender scan accuracy?

So next week I have an early DNA gender scan. (Blood test) 
I’ll be right at 10 weeks and 1 day,
I was super excited until a friend of mine was telling me she’s heard multiple stories of them turning out WRONG! 
I’m having a gender reveal and I won’t know the gender until the party along with all of our guests, and I’m really worried about it being wrong now, not only bc we are having a party but it’s kind of expensive 😳 has anyone done this test?? Were the result correct? I’m freaking out!😭

DNA blood test done by a doctor will not be wrong. Ultrasound scan will be impossible to tell at 10 weeks.

It will be accurate. If the lab doesn’t feel that there is enough fetal DNA they will redraw. I wouldn’t worry.

Blood test done by the doctor will not be wrong. Less than a 1% chance of it being wrong. It's the most accurate way of finding out gender besides waiting to see at birth. My earliest one was done at 9 wks.

I'm 10 weeks.. I'll have a blood draw for genetic testing on monday (9-9-19) I'll be 11 weeks 4 days.. the gender portion I'm told is upwards of 99% accurate. I'll also be doing a gender reveal.. but it's more for our kids and family so I'll already know what it is.. fingers crossed for a boy.. I have 3 girls 1 boy.

If the blood test is through your doctor, it’ll more than likely be accurate. Those have about a 99% accuracy rate. If it’s one of the tests you bought off the internet, it’s 50/50 on being right or wrong

So here’s how it works: fetal cells from the baby end up in your blood stream. The blood test looks for xx or xy in your blood. If xx is present then you are having a girl, if xy is present you are having a boy. The errors happen when the test is done too early and the fetal cells aren’t present in enough quantities to identify. They also happen often with Sneek Peak at home tests because of contamination. If you get it done at your doctors office, it will be 99% accurate.

The blood tests are 99% accurate. Even the sneak peek blood test is 99% accurate when you follow the directions exactly. I did sneak peek at 8 weeks 6 days and it said boy. I've had a feeling it's a boy so if it happens to have been wrong and I end up with a girl I'll be extremely shocked.

I was going to order the sneak peak dna gender test but have also read bad reviews on them. It’s also anywhere from 60$-$180 for the kits. 
I’ve seen where some results are  inconclusive and when they call customer service they don’t have much luck with that. 🤨 
But I have had a friend do it and they found out they are having a girl, and she was only 8-11 weeks along. 🤷🏼‍♀️ still thinking about it. 😬
