When to share Baby Registry?

I’m holding a baby shower on October 26th and another one sometime in November (I have family and in-laws all over Florida as well as family in California) I’m due Jan 13th. I’m wondering when you think I should share my registry on social media for friends and family?

I was always told that you shouldn’t send out your registry unless someone asks for it.
