High school seniors and we’re still acting like children 😒

🌼

What annoys me is that people from my year group discriminating so much! They don’t like you? You’re out! They’ll show you disgust, ignore you, avoid you. You name it however you like, I’ll call it INSECURE.

Well, I’ve spent my whole time in high school and middle school thinking I’m the one who has the problem. With my friends we’re always kind to them, always smile to them, always keen to help them. The meanest ones though are the girls. They’ll literally just stare at you in absolute disgust and walk as far from you as possible making you feel you’ve got the problem.

Here are two examples that have happened today in my FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL:

1) a “popular” girl pulled her chair away from me and preferred to sit to a more uncomfortable spot just so that nobody sees her with me

2) at P.E. a boy was practicing basketball, and when the ball came our direction, my friend was kind enough to catch it and give it to him. Instead, he didn’t accept it and he just left saying “it’s fine I’ll go” and literally left immediately as if we were chasing him.

I don’t think it’s because i smell bad, or I’m unattractive, or anything. I just don’t know what’s wrong. Me and my friends are pretty attractive girls, clean, friendly, same race/religion etc as them, and still something’s going wrong.

How would you respond to this situation? We have tried many times throughout the years but nothing happens.
