TTC now or after honeymoon?

My fiancé and I are getting married this October, so we decided to start TTC. I recently came off my IUD in August and got a BFN in September. Now, my  “fertile window” should be starting in a few days, should we try this month and if all goes as expected be pregnant during our honeymoon? Or should we just wait til next cycle?

It's a very personal choice. We waited about 5 months after our wedding to start ttc. We got to enjoy the beginning of married life and work on some home upgrades and enjoy time with friends. We also went somewhere there was a risk for Zika so did not want to take any chances.

If you want to have a baby now (and are not traveling to an area with Zika), then I would just enjoy your honeymoon without the stress of thinking about it and if you don’t conceive this cycle then you can really start trying the next cycle. You should just focus on enjoying your honeymoon and hopefully you’ll get a baby out of it 😊

For me it would depend on where you’re going for your honeymoon. Is there a Zika risk there? If there is, I’d be waiting the suggested time and/or getting tested before trying for a baby.
