Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction?

I was diagnosed with SPD and told it would go away after baby was born. I had a c section, she was 9lb3oz. It still hurts sometimes, specially when I fall asleep on my side (even though I sleep with a body pillow) anyone else still in pain after 4 months? I’m planning on making a Dr’s Appmt soon.

Yes! I’ve been in physical therapy and it has helped a lot. Now I hardly have any pain. Before PT I couldn’t even put pants on without pain. It takes time to heal

My daughter was born May 6th & I still have some discomfort after walking for a while!

Your ligaments could still be loose? I had it with my first pregnancy and during my second as well and even now it will hurt and my baby was born in the beginning of May.

I didn’t have SPD, but my hips still hurt a lot. I think I remember reading that it takes your body about 12 months to get back to pre-pregnancy state physically and hormonally. 
Obviously, you know your body best though. If you think you need to see a doctor, then make the appointment for sure.

I’ve noticed this in the mornings after I laid on my side all night, this morning was the worst it’s been and continued into the day more, I had a c section though so I didn’t know it could be that. It’s painful! Do you know anything to make it better?

I had vaginal and in so much pain still. Had to have an episiotomy and my doctor had had to treat me twice now because my tissue wasn’t healing
