Sippy cups or straw cups yet?

We had our 6 month appointment yesterday and our pediatrician brought up sippy cups. We haven’t really thought about introducing them yet. Should we? We were gifted a regular sippy cup and one with a straw at our baby shower and they’ve just been hanging out in the cupboard since 🤷🏼‍♀️
Has anyone given a sippy cup or straw to their little one yet? How did it go?

We just introduced a sippy cup, don’t think my baby would know what to do with a straw cup yet and so we’re waiting a bit for that

We offer a soppy cup with water with her purée food 3 times a day she loves her water lol

I tried sippy cup and he mainly just bites it. When he does get the water out he lets it go down his chin or he blows bubbles. 
Tried the weighted straw cup too and he just bites it.

Ours can do a sippy cup but had no clue how to work the straw, just trial and error

I’d try the straw cup. We’ve been offering her the weighted sippy cup she’s 6 mo and she does fine with it

I have her one last week with an ounce of water in it and she wasn’t interested, so I just let it go 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’d use the 360 cup or a straw cup only. I work in a dental office and most dental professionals and drs say regular sippy cups aren’t good for teeth!

My ebf baby won’t eat a bottle at all but will drink his milk from a sippy cup 🤷🏻‍♀️ I mean if we don’t have to break him from bottles or pacifiers I’m happy. Taking away the boob is gonna be the challenge 😂
