Newborn pictures??

Question

When you did your newborn pictures, did you take any with you in them or just pictures of baby? 
Still not completely feeling human and I am so exhausted that I dont want to get dressed up for pictures. At the same time I dont want to miss out on her being so tiny and getting some great shots.

Totally up to you mama 😊 basically when you feel like a normal human being lol we did ours at 1 week PP, kinda forgot I would actually be in them lol they actually turned out pretty adorable though
The only downside was that my baby wanted to nurse literally every 10 minutes, which made the session a bit longer. If I were to do it again I may have waited a bit longer, that was just when our photographer normally booked them 🤷🏼‍♀️

We had ours taken when my son was 8 days old. I was not at all prepared to take photos, you can see how completely exhausted I am, but I am so thankful to have them.

I did just my baby. I didn’t feel like getting all ready with lack of sleep and feeling blah after baby.

We did newborn at 1 week and just did her. Same as you I was no where near ready for photos. We took them on our phones of just normal everyday stuff so we have those. I kinda regret not doing then though. Were going to do a full family photo shoot at 2 months.

We did some at the hospital which I was in but not my face. The photographer was great about about doing ones where my husband and I could be blurred out. Like we're sitting on the bed cuddling in the distance while the baby is close up. Then the rest are just our arms and what not. 
Three weeks later we did other pictures where we are actually in them. 
I think it's just up you, I know I would regret not having them. Especially since my husband didn't even take any during birth of the baby or like ones of my first time holding baby.

I think it’s up to you if you want to be in them or not. I wasn’t in my kids newborn pictures because I feel like a huge ugly blimp and far from photogenic. But, my brother and sister in law was in their daughters newborn pictures.
